Superior Sheds “The Double Wide”

Need more storage space than a single wide shed can offer? We have three “double wide” solutions for you. All of our shed models come in a double wide format. They can be built as large as 20’ X 36’ which gives you 720 square feet of building! The double wide shed has a 90” side wall which gives you even more overhead space. These sheds are prefabricated in our factory and are then separated at predetermined intervals for transport and bolted back together at your residence or place of business.
Superior Sheds prefabricates all of our sheds in a controlled environment which means all phases of construction have been tested and inspected before delivery to your home or place of business. All our sheds are state approved and bear the insignia of approval of the Florida DCA and/or Florida DBPR which makes permitting a snap.

    • Mobile home style, roll-up garage.

    • Door/Window Placement

    • Placement must coincide with sections for bolt together and at least two feet from end or any connection.

    • TRUSS SYSTEM

    • Manufactured Truss System, Hurricane Strap 2″ X 4″, Approximate 16″ centers.

    • DECKING

    • 3/4″ tongue and groove Sturdi Floor (treated) or 3/4″ tongue and groove Advantech Decking (option on Advantech of gray acrylic paint).

    • SKIDS/FLOOR JOISTS

    • 4″ X 4″ pressure treated skids. 2″ X 6″ pressure treated floor joist attached to skids with Simpson Hurricane Fastening System, approximately 24″ centers or 16″ centers.

    • WIND LOAD

    • 190 mph as calculated by 2017 Florida Standard Building Code ASCE7-98 3 second gusts.

    • FLOOR LOAD

    • 75 lbs. per square foot; optional 125 lbs per sq. foot.

    • STATE APPROVAL

    • Florida State Approved and inspected; insignia and data plate in each building; deemed to comply with state and local construction requirements. Florida Statute 553.37(3)(5)

    • PERMITS

    • Local municipalities require permits; Superior Sheds guides the homeowner through the process. We make it easy.

    • ENGINEERED DRAWINGS

    • Copies of State Certified drawings and Florida Approval letter provided upon purchase.
