The past 25 years have brought a myriad of changes to backyard storage. Building codes, hurricanes, zoning, permits, customer tastes, styles of construction and State of Florida classifications have all come into play.
"Shed" used to mean any backyard structure, as generic as Xerox for a copy and Coke for a soft drink, but now backyard storage buildings have really changed!
Superior Sheds offers several options - all of which have the strength, aesthetics, options and quality to satisfy any customer. Plus, all of our sheds are state-certified.
The State of Florida had put portable storage sheds under the Department of Community Affairs. Our sheds are regulated, monitored, inspected and tracked with insignias that mark their state-certified design. Plus, we manufacture our products in Florida - not out of state.
Kits from the famous big box stores usually do not meet any building codes. Backyard builders and do it yourself sheds must comply with your local building code and in most cases do not. These examples are never a problem until the local code enforcement finds them. Then they become a big headache for you, not the person that sold it to you. Permits and codes are never an issue with Superior Sheds.
Sure, at Superior Sheds we still call them "sheds," but our Storage Buildings have come a long way. Check out our gallery of photos!
